i dont mean all schools, just a few

parents adorn their children when they see that they have gone through the test of time and when they see that they have acheived certain mildstones in their lives. moreso they feel accomplished when they see their children getting what they did not have the opportunity to get. in many ways and instances education is a pivotal entity in such upliftment.
However, one may me tempted to further analyse the educational system as one element of this experience is missing. " Our educational system of today teaches and guides us on how to fit into a network rather than create our own". it attempts to show us how to manage for someone else, or be managed by someone else rather than show us how to maintain a vital network that will uplift us at a similar rate as those who have already established their own. that type of education is not education. that i refer to as "intellectual segregation" as it seeks to mislead or redirect the ambition of the youth in the hopes of them becoming an animal of material fascination. this indeed goes to show that as much education as you may have, be i a degree or phd or master, " Book sense is noway on equal par to common sense".

what a sight

while i adore the formation of youth ehterprises and specifically youth oriented governmental organizations, i must say that based on my observations, we have created a culure of "sayers" rather than "doers". the mere selection process for those who head some of these organizations has caused me to raise an eyebrow or two from time to time. but dont be misguided by my comments, it is not the posts that i am in conflict with. moreso i question the capability of some of their recipients. how can you hold a highly recognised leadership post, one of importance and of the highest possible significance to develoment within a specific parameter, and yet you do absolutely nothing but sit and smile. well i guess its up to people like us to make the change for them, even although such an engagement may result in them once again doing nothing and taking credit for it. that again is not my concern though, once the job is done.

approach to power

i firmly beleive that the best way to involve the government into activities that they ought to be mindful of is to participate in what is called the "Politics of exclusion". in doing so, you ignore government agencies that have seemingly neglected your ambitions. try it and see! government will latch on to projects and programs at a far quicker rate if it has become a success on its own. although it may be a case of them wanting to brand your project, you keep focussed on th fact that they came to you and you didn't goto them. therefore the ball is always in your court and if you ever have to go at it alone again, i will not be an unusual situation. my approach to politics is as simple as that.

Neo-Community Development
Related to country: Barbados

Tradition methodologies of community development have now served their time. Hence why they should be termed traditional. No longer can the machinery of development be limited within the parameters of external interventions. this meaning no longer should the community sit and watch governments, regardless of who is in, develop around their houses while their only contribution may be in the form of community meetings and survey sheets. My method of community development is based on a concept i learned in economics called the multiplier. so rampant an approach is this method that i can be bold enough to speak ahead of myself and say that this project can ONLY BE SUCCESSFUL. that is all i am willing to tell you about this project right now and i am willing to share the concet with a select few individuals who share a simillar mandate. Not only will i create a community based company, but in addition, the Multiplier Project will create a company based community. (food for thought) so please, feel free to engage me in a discussion for me to expound on my unique ambition. i promise you, this one is a winner.
